Worked alongside the creative, strategic, and account teams at Hunt Adkins to update Titan’s logo and brand identity. The client was looking to draw upon the masculine approach their brand previously encompassed while incorporating a modern look and feel.

HAYWARD \ HUNT ADKINS
2015 BUYER'S GUIDE
Worked alongside the creative, studio, and account teams at Hunt Adkins to design the cover and interior tab pages for the Hayward’s 2015 Buyer’s Guide. The goal of the design was to give the client's brand a more sophisticated and luxurious appearance.
The purpose of this project was to use our graphic design skills to solve a problem in the health care spectrum. This project took us deeper than any of the previous, being that we had to do extensive research and conceptual ideation in order to reach an innovative solution. The problem chosen to focus on is the lack of physical activity many Americans get today. My solution was to create a physical training app that would make working out easy for everyone.
CORPORATE IDENTITY SYSTEM
The purpose of this project was to create a business and corporate identity system that integrated with the culture of a particular neighborhood in Rome. The neighborhood that was assigned to me was Trastevere, which is recognized as being the epitome of traditional Italian culture, consequently making it exceptionally popular among tourists. Therefore, a family owned cheese shop would be considered to be a perfect addition to this area.
VISUAL METHODS PROJECT
The purpose of this project was to choose a medium to explore a variety of visual communication methods. We were to utilize different visual solutions in order to come about equally effective design solutions. I employed flat color, photographic image, and illustration.
NAYS YOUTH SPORTS
The purpose of this project was to choose an organization and create a newsletter for them in order to become familiar with only being able to use two pantone colors to create an effective design.
The purpose of this project was to select a typeface and to design a 27th letter of the alphabet that would fit with in the chosen typeface. The 27th letter could have been an ampersand, a prefix, a suffix, or two letters bound together as a ligature. The typeface chosen for this project was Bodoni and an “i” and a “s” were combined into a ligature. Finally, research was conducted on the typeface designer, Giambattista Bodoni, in order to create a typographic poster based on his career.
This purpose of this project was to design a four-plate typographic poster that is based on a specific piazza in Rome. My chosen piazza was Piazza Rotonda, which is most famous for being home to the Pantheon. The primary challenge was to create four separate plates, one type only, one image only, one type dominant, and one image dominant, that were able to stand on their own, as well as work as one cohesive poster.
A variety of logo explorations created for Noetic Inc., Titan, 'Pinion, EssentiaCare, and St. Rocco's while interning at Hunt Adkins and Initio, as well as a couple logos created for class projects while studying at Iowa State University.
In addition to my love of design, I have a passion for documenting the beauty in the world around me.
